The wise words from Eliud Kipchoge that could impact Manchester United players following dissapointing season start
Eliud Kipchoge has shared a glimpse of the conversations he had with Manchester United players during his visit to Old Trafford.
Despite the high expectations set by her Olympic success, Russell humorously addressed her growing pains on her X handle, reminding fans of her relative novelty in the field.
She stated, “I think people forget I’m still a rookie 😂”.
Lyles, who has himself been a prominent figure in sprinting, responded to Russell's post with enthusiasm, exclaiming, “GREATEST ROOKIE SEASON!”
His comment not only highlights his support for the newcomer but also underscores the significant impact Russell has made in her first professional season.
Russell's journey to becoming a top contender in the 100m hurdles is marked by her transition from the 400m hurdles, an event she described as her first love during a discussion on Lyles' podcast, *Sprint Talk*.
“I was just a runner for like seven years before I did any type of hurdling. Of course, the 400m hurdles was like oh this is cool. This is like a new event this is fun. That's what got me recruited,” Russell explained.
