Noah Lyles defeated a stacked field at the London Diamond League, clocking a new Personal Best and Meeting Record to strengthen his position as the one to beat in Paris.
World's fastest man Noah Lyles has given another indication that he isn't relinquishing his status as the man to beat in Paris, after defeating a loaded field in a blistering time of 9.81s at the London Diamond League.
The American track star who has been on the wrong side of rivals and track fans' books for his vocal personality in the past few weeks, showed once again he isn't just a man of words but backs it up with actions.
Lyles had a good start, going with the rest of the field with his strength paying off at the 60m mark as he pulled away to the finish line in a new Personal Best and Meeting Record for his winning time.
