“I’m giving my vibe, I’m trying to figure out what’s the style for the Olympics, and this year, I think it’s been screaming pearls," Lyles told Citius Mag.

“You know pearls have been the vibe all this time so I had to make sure that my nails were a pearly vibe and I also had to make sure my hair, you know the outfits…that’s what I think I’m going to the Olympics with."

The 26-year-old also noted that his fans are an integral part of his career and he always looks to make them proud. He also lauded the announcer for giving him a standing ovation as he introduced Lyles to the crowds.

“We did a lot of work going into this meet all the way from the announcer, you know I think we got a hockey introduction because the announcer works for some hockey team and I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s the introduction we need at every time we step out onto the track, right there’,” Lyles said.
