Noah Lyles seems determined to do things his own way as he has invited students to a showdown with him after snubbing YouTuber IShowSpeed and NFL star Tyreek Hill.
Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles has invited two high school or college athletes from Florida to race him days after turning down a request for a rematch with YouTube sensation IShowSpeed.
Lyles wants to instead give the chance to youngsters in his area of residence Clermont, Florida, asking them to submit their entry for the showdown which will be a part of an upcoming video for his YouTube Channel.
“Calling all fast people in the Orlando area! We're looking for one male and one female—to race me as part of an upcoming video,” Lyles posted on social media.

‘See you in LA’ - Noah Lyles tells IShowSpeed to meet him at next Olympics after turning down his request for a rematch
Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles has fired back at YouTuber IShowSpeed over his pleas for a rematch, telling the content creator to meet him at the LA 2028 Olympics.
“If you're in Clermont, FL, or the surrounding Orlando, FL area, this is your chance to show what you've got. Must be 18+ or 16+ with a parent's permission. Ready to race? Submit your entry now!”
It is a move that will likely draw mixed reactions after Lyles refused a request from Speed for a rematch early this week, saying he would like to run against “someone serious and faster,” having beaten the content creator in a 50m dash last month to take home the $100,000 on offer.
The sprinter has told Speed to instead get into shape and qualify for the 2028 Los Angele Olympics if he is serious about racing him.
Lyles is also yet to agree to a race against NFL star Tyreek Hill who has challenged him on multiple occasions to face him in a 60m dash, a request that the sprinter said will only be on his terms.
After he turned down Speed’s rematch quest, Hill asked Lyles to give him that chance but the sprinter appears only interested in doing this his way hence the latest move to invite school ‘kids’.
