Noah Lyles defeated Trayvon Bromell at the 2023 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix

His victory over Bromell kicked off a historic season for him, which saw him clinch the 100m and 200m world titles at the World Championships in Budapest, in addition to anchoring Team USA to the 4x100m gold medal.

The hattrick of gold medals cemented his name as the Male Track Athlete of the Year at the World Athletics Awards, making him the only American athlete to be awarded.

Lyles will be gunning to replicate the same form this season by gunning for a quadruple of gold medals at the Paris Olympic Games, but first, he has to start the season right in Boston.

Meanwhile, Kerley won't be a pushover as he's one of the most versatile sprinters, and will be racing the first 60m dash of his career at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.
