The gesture comes as a token of his appreciation for the educational foundation laid during his formative years at the institution.

Cheruiyot, a former world champion in the 1500m race, handed over the facility to the school's principal in a heartfelt ceremony.
The Rongai Athletics Club athlete, who has achieved notable success on the global stage, was inspired to make the donation after revisiting the school and recognising the dire need for improved sanitation facilities.
"I am very happy to be back at my secondary school in my hometown of Singorwet. Opening a new toilet block facility for the students is my way of saying thank you," Cheruiyot expressed, highlighting the deep connection he feels with his alma mater.
