Nigerian sprinter Favour Ofili could not hold her emotions after missing out on winning a medal in the women's 200m final.
Ofili made the final of the women's 200m after finishing first in the heats and second in the quarterfinal.
However, the star girl narrowly missed out on winning a medal in the 200-metre final in a very tight race.
She succumbed to the supremacy of the USA's Gabby Thomas, who won her first individual Olympic gold medal.

Favour Ofili will be running the race of her life in the women's 200m final, when she lines up against Olympic champion Julien Alfred with the aim of winning Nigeria's first medal since 1996.
Ofili in tears
Ofili expressed a lot of emotions after losing out on winning a medal at the women’s 200-metre Olympic final.
The Nigerian was placed in lane nine on the 200-metre track, beside 100-meter gold winner Julien Alfred in lane eight.
She could only finish in sixth place with a time of 22.24 after making a lot of effort to get into the top three.
After the race, she was seen in a video, which was shared on X, shedding tears and being consoled by people around her.
In the video, she was also heard saying she was sorry repeatedly as she fell into the arms of one of the women for comfort.
The emotions displayed by Ofili led one of the women comforting her and urging the Nigerian Olympic Committee to improve their support for athletes.
Grace Adams Iliya shared on X, "Please, we need to be there for these athletes always, @NigeriaOlympic, someone has to always be in the mixed zone. I was the only one there for #favourofili, she tried her best.”
Disappointment filled the heart of the sprinter as her hope of winning any medals was dashed at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
