Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma, and Ezinne Abba will compete against each other, and more Nigerian NCAA athletes that will line up this weekend.
This weekend will be very fast as the best Nigerian NCAA athletes will be in action for their various schools at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic.
In the women's 60m, Favour Ofili and Ezinne Abba will line up against each other for their schools, Louisiana State University (LSU) and the University of Texas (UT).
Ofili is making her season's debut in the event, while Abba will be gunning to improve on her 60m Personal Best (PB) of 7.28s set two weeks ago.
Both athletes also are listed in the 200m, this time having Rosemary Chukwuma of Texas Tech University join the list.
The fastest amongst them is Ofili, with her NCAA-leading time of 20.53s recorded last weekend, Chukwuma is second on the Nigerian list with 22.99s, and Abba is third with 23.30s.
Ella Onojuvwevwo will also join them in the event having the fourth-fastest Nigerian time of 24.11s. She will double in the 400m event, aiming to lower her PB of 53.57s.
Oghenekaro Brume of the University of Texas El Paso (UTEP) is listed to compete in the 400m and 4x400m, Ese Awusa in the 60mH while Utitofon Sam is the only representative in the weight throw event.
Men's events
Godson Brume of LSU and Karlington Anunagba will square up in the 60m and 200m, Jerry Jakpa will make his indoor debut in the 60m, and Emmanuel Ekong will also be in the 60m.
Victor Akhalu is going to compete in the 400m, while Damilare Okulosi of Texas Christian University (TCU) is the only Nigerian in the triple jump event.
Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Invitation
Stanford University standout athlete Udodi Onwuzuruike will make his college indoor debut in the 200m.
He is already the School Record holder for all sprint events indoors and outdoors in his school, apart from the indoor 200m. So this may be another record-breaking one from the sophomore student.
