The couple got married in November 2023 in a grand civil wedding held in Ivory Coast and have been almost inseparable since, making appearances together on any given occasion.
He has also been very supportive of her career since they started dating, being mostly at her competitive meets and every major championship.
In celebration of their first wedding anniversary, J. Smith posted a lovely message with beautiful pictures on his Instagram page.

Ta Lou-Smith is Africa's fastest woman in history with a lifetime best time of 10.72s. The 36-year-old has also been one of the world's most consistent female sprinters in the past decade, having several continental and world championship medals in her name.
