With several speculations on Sha'Carri Richardson's 2025 season opener, reports have surfaced on her first race of the year.
Since the start of the 2025 season, fans have been anticipating Sha'Carri Richardson's season opener filled with the excitement on watching their track star again to gauge her readiness ahead of her 100m title defense at the World Championships in Tokyo this summer.
Last weekend, while many track athletes kicked off their outdoor season at different meets in the US and Grand Slam Track in Jamaica, the sprint queen was missing in action after debunking news of racing at the Miramar Invitational.

With several questions being asked, fans may have finally calculated when she'll officially have her season opener.
Reports on social media suggest Richardson will have her 2025 debut at the Tom Jones Invitational on April 19, using her boyfriend Christian Coleman and close friend Tee Tee Terry's race schedule for the year.

Coleman and Terry released the same plans, opening their season in the 4x100m at the Florida Relays last weekend, having opted not to sign with Michal Johnson's Grand Slam Track in Kingston.
Their next race will be at the Tom Jones Invitational, before Diamond League season debut in Xiamen on April 26, and in Shanghai for the second leg on May 3rd.
With this, fans believe Richardson will also follow the same pattern, considering they're training partners at Star Athletics club headed by coach Dennis Mitchell. Also, she mostly uses her boyfriend Coleman's schedule as they did for most of last season.
She also gave hint on this by sharing his race plans on her Instagram story with the caption:
