ATHLETICS: The millions Usain Bolt makes in a year
The Jamaican is the world record holder in both the 100m and 200m, records he set during the 2009 World Championships.
He finished behind Norway’s Jakob Ingebrigtsen who set a world record time of 4:43.13 over the distance. He recounted that the race was not a walk in the park and the fact that he was seeking points to qualify for the final, he was forced to put in more effort.
“I was under pressure to get more points in the race and I had to work hard until I finished second. The race was very tactical but I did not struggle a lot because I have competed in the 5000m before,” he said.
