Rosemary Chukwuma will return back to action this weekend, aiming for another record-breaking performance.

Nigeria's fastest 60m runner in 2023, Rosemary Chukwuma will return to action at the Jarvis Scott Open this weekend.

The Texas Tech University junior, is scheduled to compete in the 200m alongside teammate Mercy Umoibang.

Chukwuma last competed two weeks ago when she clocked a Personal Best (PB) of 22.99s in the same event, thereby becoming the third African female sprinter in history to go under the 23s mark indoors.

She will be hoping to reduce this time and further climb up the NCAA and African top list this season.

Meanwhile, South Plains College duo of Success Umukoro and Maria Umoibang are listed in the 60m, 200m, and 4x400m. Then New Mexico University junior Ese Awusa will be lining up in the 60m.

In the men's events, Jerry Jakpa of West Texas A&M is in the 60m list and Emmanuel Ekong of Texas Christian University in the 60m and 200m.
