Favour Ashe and Godson Brume are set for sprint showdown at South Eastern Conference (SEC) Championships.
Defending champion Favour Ashe and Louisiana State University's Godson Brume have both qualified for the 100m final after dominating their respective heats at the SEC Championships.
Ashe qualified with the fastest overall time of 10.06s to effortlessly win his heat ahead of teammate Azeem Fahmi in a Personal Best (PB) of 10.11s.
It's his first race of the outdoor season, as he did not finish his race at the Tom Jones Invitational, pulling out injured with a suspected hamstring injury.
With his injury now behind him, the Auburn University sophomore student looks his best to defend his title and gain the maximum points for his school.

NCAA BIG 12 Championships: Chinecherem makes Baylor history winning back-to-back titles
Nnamdi Chinecherem retained his Javelin throw title at the BIG 12 Championships, thereby making Baylor University history.
However, Brume has been in his best career shape this season and is a huge threat to that title hopes.
The LSU sophomore student had a super fast last 30m, coming from behind to cross the finish line first in 10.18s, ahead of his teammate Brandon Hicklin with 10.27s.
Brume stunned everyone with a 60m bronze medal in the indoor season and can come out with the same medal colour or a better position of Nigerian 1-2 in the final.
