The American explained that the first thing she was able to learn was to take accountability for her actions and also love herself.
“Taking accountability is one of the things that has helped me grow…you have to be able to take accountability for your mistakes and correct the mistakes in yourself before you correct anything else.
"I would also say self-love…that’s the big thing. No matter how much the world can give you love, you need to know how to give yourself love first.
"You also need to have confidence since it is one of the things you need to have whether you lose or win. You also need confidence on your better days or ugly days,” she explained.

Sha'Carri Richardson has had an impeccable 2023 season and the Dallas ISD Trustees are considering naming her after a stadium.
The highlight of her season was when she stunned the Jamaican duo of Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Anne Fraser-Pryce to win the 100m at the World Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
She clocked 10.65, equaling Jackson’s world leading time to clinch the top prize at the global showpiece. She also made an impression in several Diamond League Meeting races that she competed in.
