The 19-year-old had the choice of picking between 60m world record holder Christian Coleman and triple world champion Noah Lyles and decided to settle on Lyles.

Ferdinand Omanyala's younger brother, Isaac Omurwa, has opened up on how he handles frustrations as a young track athlete.
Choosing between former world marathon record holder Eliud Kipchoge and legendary runner Paul Tergat who is now the National Olympic Committee of Kenya president, the youngster chose Kipchoge, widely regarded as the king of marathon running.
Omurwa also selected Pamela Jelimo as his favourite athlete while picking between Jelimo and athlete now-turned-coach Janeth Jepkosgei.
Jelimo won the gold medal in 800 metres at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing at the age of 18 to become the first Kenyan woman to win an Olympic gold medal and also the first Kenyan to win the Golden League Jackpot.

He also chose world 100m champion Sha’Carri Richardson over Shelly-Anne Fraser-Pryce during the challenge and he could not trade his love for his brother Omanyala for Botswanan wunderkind Letsile Tebogo.
