She posted on her Instagram page a series of pictures with the caption: "Heart bigger than my body ❤️🔥."
Sha'Carri Richardson's festive season post
Richardson has a long 2025 season ahead which will be a defining year in her career as she'll be gunning to defend her 100m world title in Tokyo, which if successful will make her the first American woman since Marion Jones to achieve such a feat since 1999 after winning it in 1997.
The 2025 season will also include the world indoor championships in March, a competition Richardson has never partaken in. It remains unknown if the American sprint champion will compete this time in an attempt to perfect her start and the first 60m of her 100m race.
Notwithstanding, Richardson will be aiming to bounce back to winning ways next year, after losing the Olympic gold medal to Julien Alfred and a disappointing last-place finish at the Diamond League final in Brussels to end her rollercoaster 2023 season.
