From track success to their fashion enthusiasm, here are 5 things the world's fastest woman Sha'Carri Richardson shares in common with WWE Diva Bianca Belair.

World's fastest woman Sha'Carri Richardson and WWE Diva Bianca Belair are two of the most charismatic female sports personalities.

While Richardson stands out as the most influential and famous track and field athlete, Belair is known for her intriguing personality and being the longest-reigning WWE Raw Women's Champion.

Despite the differences in their various sports, Richardson shares some things in common with Belair, which this article highlights below.

Sha'Carri Richardson

1 - Track success

Richardson competes in the 100m and 200m. The 23-year-old rose to fame in 2019 as a freshman at Louisiana State University when she ran 10.75 seconds to break the 100m collegiate record at the NCAA Division I Championships.

Her first world success came at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, where she blazed to the 100m title in a record of 10.65s, thus earning the bragging rights of the world's fastest woman. She would also anchor Team USA to the 4x100m gold medal in a championship record of 41.03 seconds.

Likewise, Belair succeeded as a college track speedster. She competed in the hurdles and had what ESPN writer Sean Hurd calls "a volatile six-year track career" that saw her attend three universities.

Belair first attended the University of South Carolina, then Texas A&M University, before going back home to Knoxville to complete her college career at the University of Tennessee, where she became All-SEC and All-American as well as being named to the SEC's academic honor roll in 2011 and 2012.

2 - Fashion enthusiasts

Belair is known for her signature ponytail, which she often uses against her opponents as a weapon. The former RAW Women's Champion is one of the most creative stars as she makes all her ring gear herself, including some of her most iconic looks at big events like WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble.

Bianca Belair is a big fashion enthusiast

"I love fashion. I want to eventually get more into the fashion game, creating my fashion line one day," she said when asked about her dreams outside the ring.

Richardson is also a fashion goddess. She's always a stunner on and off track, either in her natural hair look or with wigs, showcasing her signature long flashy nails and making bold fashion statements.

Acknowledging her influence in the 'Gen Z fashion world', Nike recently unveiled her as the face of their new collaboration with French luxury fashion brand Jacquemus, of which the collections are reportedly selling out fast in stores.

3 - Doppelganger?

When looking at Belair and Richardson, they're almost a clone of each other. While the WWE Diva may be a little bit bigger and older, aside from this there's little or no difference in their physical attributes.

Their fashion statements, electric personalities, and standout appearances on any occasion are similar, making them easily mistaken as sisters.

4 - Black Girl Magic

Belair is one of two women to win at a WrestleMania main event, and her 420-day reign as Raw Women's Champion stands as the longest in the championship history.

She won the 2021 Women's Royal Rumble match, becoming the second African-American after The Rock to attain this feat. In 2023, she became the longest-reigning Raw Women's Champion with her reign of 420 days. Also, has the longest reign of any WWE women's championship since 2006, thus making her the longest-reigning women's champion of the modern era.

Her reign would break a couple of other records within WWE, including the longest-reigning black world champion (male or female) and the longest-reigning African-American for any singles championship.

For Richardson, her World Championship feat in Budapest made her USA's first 100m world champion since the late Tori Bowie won the title in 2017. Her world title-winning time of 10.65s is the joint-fastest in the world in 2023, and she clocked the most sub-11s time of the season (12).

For her outstanding feat, the Dallas City board declared November 10 the Sha'Carri Richardson Day, and the Dallas Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees named the track at the John Kincaide Stadium in Dallas, Texas Sha'Carri Richardson Track.

The speedster was named the 2023 USA Female Athlete of the Year and recognized as a shaker in sport by being named in the Forbes '30 Under 30' 2024 list.

5 - Fastest women in their sport

As stated earlier, Richardson is the fastest woman in the world after winning the world title in Budapest. She isn't just the swiftest but clocked the best times by a female 100m sprinter in 2023.

Belair uses the nickname "The EST of WWE" which she describes as being "the fastest, the strongest, the quickest, the roughest and the toughest – emphasis on the "est".

Both women understand and know what speed means, hence another unique quality they share in their personalities.
