A recent key stat has shown another great accomplishment topped by the legendary Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is recognised as one of the greatest sprinters in history, having a plethora of accomplishments to back up the status.

A dominant force in women's sprinting, the Jamaican icon has won more individual global sprint titles than any other female sprinter in history and is the most decorated 100m sprinter of all time.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is a five-time world champion and multiple Olympic medallist

And now, a recent key stat shared by X user @KadeemBarrett11 has revealed that the track legend tops the most sub-11s time in Jamaican history, going under the mark 86 times.

(function (v, d, o, ai) { ai = d.createElement('script'); ai.defer = true; ai.async = true; ai.src = v.location.protocol + o; d.head.appendChild(ai); })(window, document, '//a.vdo.ai/core/v-pulsesports-ng-v2/vdo.ai.js');

The five-time world 100m champion leads ahead of the great Merlene Ottey, who went under the mark 68 times, and world's fastest woman alive Elaine Thompson-Herah, 61 times.

Retired sprint icon Veronica Campbell-Brown is fourth on the list (49 times), while world's fastest woman alive in the 200m Shericka Jackson completes the top 5, going under the barrier 34 times.

Completing the top 10 list are: Kerron Stewart (25) Sherone Simpson (13) Natasha Morrison (07) Briana Williams (06) and Kemba Nelson (05).

Fraser-Pryce is one of the most enduring track athletes in history, with her career spanning over a decade and a half, from 2008 to date. Her success, including her consistency at major championships, helped usher in the golden age of Jamaican women's sprinting.

In 2022, she became the first woman to run below the 10.70s mark seven times in a single season, adding up to nine total times in her career, and her personal best of 10.60s makes her the third-fastest woman in history.

The 38-year-old will be gunning for another iconic season, by attempting for another medal at the World Championships in Tokyo this summer.
