Shericka Jackson will officially kick off her 2024 season at the Queen’s/Grace Jackson Meet on Saturday, facing some of Jamaica's best in youngster Tia Clayton.
The world 200m champion was initially scheduled to begin her season two weeks ago at the JAAA PUMA Fuller/Anderson Development Meet but withdrew due to cautionary measures.
Now listed to make her season's debut in the 60m, Jackson will face stiff competitors in Clayton, event specialist Briana Williams, Sashalee Forbes, and Janeek Brown.

World champion Shericka Jackson has bagged more awards in her home country Jamaica.
Last season, Jackson began her record-breaking year at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in the same event and finished in a time of 7.34s. She'll later lower this time in subsequent races, blazing to 7.23s and 7.18s to close her indoor season.
