Jackson, who won the 100m title in Kingston in a massive Personal Best (PB) and world-leading time of 10.65s, has declared she's faster and in better shape in Budapest.

World silver medallist Shericka Jackson clocked a world-leading time of 10.65s to get Jamaican fans excited ahead of World championships in Budapest.
"I've gotten a lot faster now since the Jamaican trials. It's just to go there and execute a good 100 and 200 and definitely expect good things. I'm in pretty good shape, and anything is possible,'' said Jackson in an interview with Athletics Weekly at the Puma house in Budapest.
Jackson won a silver medal in the event last year in Oregon, so she's one of the top favourites to win the title in Budapest.

However, she will have stiff competition in defending champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, US sensation Sha'Carri Richardson, and African Record holder Marie-Josee Ta Lou - a challenge she says it's not impossible to overcome.

"Once I go through each rounds, I think the rounds are the most important thing because you can't win a medal if you don't go through the rounds and make the final. So I think once all of us line up in the final, anything is possible."
She also stated that her start has improved since 2021, and it’s just about focusing on her lane.

"My start has improved tremendously, and I think personally, it's just for me to execute my race on the day and focus on my lane."
The world 200m champion clocked a jaw-dropping 21.45s (second-fastest time in history) to win the world title in Oregon last year. Therefore, breaking the World Record of 21.34s is on her mind.
"I won't say I don't focus on breaking the WR but it's not something I dwell on. My coach and I have a lot of mental sessions where we focus on how to execute the race, and if I'm able to do that, definitely a fast time will come."
Jackson will be gunning for the 100m and 200m titles in record-breaking times in Budapest.
