Jamaican sprint queen Shericka Jackson has disclosed her favourite type of music to lift her spirit this Olympic season.
Two-time world 200m champion Shericka Jackson has opened up about the song she has been jamming to as she lifts up her spirits this Olympic season.
The world 100m silver medallist singled out the fast dancehall music back in the 90’s as her go to music to lift up her soul.
In an interview after her Rabat Diamond League triumph, Jackson said: “Once in a while, a little bit of fast dancehall back in the 90s, I’ll definitely rock to those.”

Jackson proved to be the queen of the 200m after striking with a season-best at the Diamond League Meeting in Rabat, Morocco.
The Jamaican sprint queen clocked an impressive 22.82 to cross the finish line first with Ivorian sprinter Maboundou Kone finishing second in 22.96. France’s Helene Parisot completed the podium after stopping the clock in 23.02.
Jackson expressed her elation to have competed against the strong field and managing to win the race. She added that she has a couple of few races before the Jamaican trials where she will vie for a ticket to the Paris Olympics.

“I feel good…it’s just different coming here in a different city but I think I did pretty good tonight and there was a bit of cold and wind but nevertheless I’m healthy so, I’m good.
“It’s my first 200m race of the season and I didn’t know what to expect and coach and I were discussing a few things and I think we did pretty good tonight, so, we are okay.
“I have a few races before the Jamaican trials since I started the season a bit late but nevertheless it’s just building from there and we shall definitely peak at the right time.
