British sprinter Annie Tagoe narrated the horrific accident that nearly took her life and Ese Brume's in the United States.

A month after Nigeria's long jump queen Ese Brume survived a ghastly motor accident in the United States, her British friend Annie Tagoe who drove the car has narrated the life-threatening ordeal.

Brume and Tagoe were coming back from New York when an SUV collided with their car which resulted in multiple flips and being rushed to the hospital.

Thankfully, they both survived the accident with major injuries and are recovering perfectly, however, the damages on the car showed the track and field stars were lucky to be alive.

The British sprinter who is now in a good position health-wise to talk about it, narrated the whole experience on her X page.

"Last month on the 25th November I nearly lost my life coming back from New York. When the police came they thought there will be no one alive. When we went to the hospital they were shocked that we was alive. God is so good!

"I am so glad to end the year here. The car flipped over multiple times. The airbag didn’t come out. Hit my chest multiple times on the steering wheel, sprained my shoulders, neck, hurt my hip, knees, and ended up with a brain concussion.

"It’s been so difficult being in another country with no family and dealing with this but luckily I have the best coach and training partners. I’ve been able to come back slowly to training and have a new outlook on life.

"It’s been a journey that I can finally speak about. I am just grateful that God kept me alive cause I really gave up in that car. After that the blessings had been insane. Just wanted to share how happy I am to be here.

"Everyone always say my life is a movie and it just wouldn’t be me if I didn’t end the year dramatic," wrote Tagoe.

Meanwhile, Brume who sustained sprinkled ankle and sprained neck injuries said in a phone call interview with Nigerian giant newspaper The Guardian that she's getting better.

“I am getting better. My friend is also recovering fast. I thank all those who sent words across to me. I am hopeful everything will be alright, and I will be back in training soon.”
