Reigning world sprint champion Noah Lyles headlines the star-studded lineup at the 2024 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston.

World 100m and 200m champion Noah Lyles is set to light up the track once again as he confirms his participation in next year's highly anticipated Boston Indoor Grand Prix meet.

Organizers have unveiled this exciting news creating a buzz of anticipation among fans and fellow athletes alike.

Scheduled for Sunday 4 February, this event is a crucial fixture in the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold series promising electrifying performances from some of the biggest names in track and field.

Lyles, at the young age of 26, has already cemented his status as one of the world's premier sprinters.

His journey in 2023 began in Boston, where he blazed through the 60 meters with a jaw-dropping personal best time of 6.51 seconds.

The pinnacle of his 2023 campaign saw Lyles achieve a stunning feat at the World Championships in Budapest.

He left no room for doubt by sweeping both the 100 and 200-meter sprint titles, establishing himself as the undisputed king of sprinting on the global stage.

Lyles did not stop there as he played a pivotal role in guiding the US 4x100m relay team to victory contributing a breathtaking personal best of 9.83 seconds in the 100 meters.

While Lyles' star continues to shine brightly, he will not be the only luminary on display in Boston.

Joining him will be Britain's Jake Wightman, who claimed the 1,500-meter world championship title last year.

Wightman's return to competition is eagerly anticipated, as he missed the entire 2023 season due to a right foot injury.

The Boston Indoor Grand Prix will mark his triumphant return to the track, ending a hiatus of nearly 13 months.

Fans and fellow athletes will be watching closely to see how he rebounds from his injury and if he can recapture the glory that crowned him world champion.

Local favorite Gabby Thomas, the world 200m runner-up, will also grace the Boston Indoor Grand Prix with her presence.

She clinched a 200m bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics before her standout performance this year in Budapest, where she claimed second place in the same event.

She secured her second US title in just three years in the 200m, posting a personal best time of 21.60 seconds.
