Marie Josée Ta Lou stunned 100m field with 10.75s (0.9) World Lead in Oslo.
Marie-Josee Ta Lou dominated the women's 100m field at the Oslo Diamond League, clocking an impeccable time of 10.75s (0.9) for the maximum points.
Ta Lou led from the start and was uncatchable through the finish line, inspiring Anthonique Strachan to a huge Personal Best (PB) of 10.92s, while Shericka Jackson came third in 10.98s.
Interestingly, the fourth (Dina Asher-Smith) and fifth (Daryll Neita) place finishers clocked identical times of 10.98s, proving how fast and competitive the race ended.
The Ivorian's time is a new world lead, erasing Sha'Carri Richardson's lead of 10.76s, and also smashed Marion Jones's long-standing Meeting Record of 10.82s set in 1998.
Ta Lou is also undefeated since losing her first 100m race of the year back in April. She has now strengthened her place as a favourite for the world title in Budapest.
