Hurdling legend Tobi Amusan will return to race in the 100m flat against a faster and younger compatriot Favour Ofili at the Tom Jones Invitational.
Nigerian athletics enthusiasts can anticipate a fast race this weekend as Tobi Amusan and Favour Ofili are scheduled to battle out in a 100m race at the Tom Jones Invitational on April 13th.
The duo will race against each other for the first time in a sprint race, with Amusan opting from competing in her trademark event (100mH) to know her flat speed ahead of a stacked showdown at the Xiamen Diamond League on April 20th.

A star-studded women's 100m Hurdles list has been released for the first Diamond League meet of the season in Xiamen, led by World Record holders Tobi Amusan and Devynne Charlton.
Ofili is currently in her best career form, having clocked the 300m African Record (AR) and then blazed to the world's fastest all-conditions 100m time this season at 10.85s.
Despite this, she won't have it easy against Amusan, who has also greatly improved this year, which was evident in the indoor season when she broke the 60mH AR twice and effortlessly anchored the Nigerian 4x100m relay team to the gold medal at the African Games in Ghana.
