Nigeria's Tobi Amusan sped to her fastest time this year to finish third behind Jasmine Camacho-Quinn in Ostrava.
World Record holder Tobi Amusan clocked her fastest time of the year to finish third at the Golden Spikes Meet in Ostrava.
Amusan settled for third in a Season's Best (SB) time of 12.47s behind Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, who had a strong finish to win the race in 12.42s(0.0), while US sensation Tia Jones was second in 12.44s.
It was the World champion's best performance of the season, lowering her previous time before the race of 12.57s clocked to win the event at the Racers Grand Prix two weeks ago.
This shows her significant progress made and being on track to build on her progress for the rest of the season.
Amusan's next race will be on June 30th at the Lausanne Diamond League, competing against the same crop of heavyweight hurdlers in Camacho-Quinn, Jones, and one of the most improved hurdlers this season Alaysha Johnson.
She'll be gunning to overcome the defeat and lower her time as she kicks off her defense of the diamond league title.
