Heartbreak for Nigeria as Tobi Amusan finishes sixth in Budapest
Danielle Williams became the surprise women's 100m Hurdles world champion in Budapest as Tobi Amusan finished sixth.
The 26-year-old former world champion was on the Zurich Diamond League list but has been removed for reasons unknown.
Amusan leads the Diamond League standings alongside US champion Nia Ali, which she could have extended if present in Zurich. Her absence gives room for other hurdlers who'll be competing to earn more points and perhaps surpass her.
World champion Williams tops the list of the stacked field in Zurich, as well as Camacho-Quinn and Harrison. Completing the list are Budapest finalists Devynne Charlton, Ditaji Kambundji, and Ali. While Tia Jones, Alaysha Johnson, and Pia Skrzyszowska.
