For breaking the women's 100m Hurdles World Record (WR) at the World Championships in Oregon, Amusan automatically was awarded a prize money of $100,000.
Then for winning a gold medal and becoming world champion, she earned $70,000. Now it has been reported by nalathletics.com that Amusan won an equivalent of $58,000 (N43,5 million) in Diamond League earnings for the year 2022.
