Will Tobi Amusan be running at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow? Well, she has revealed the conditions if she's to compete for another world title.
Nigeria's hurdling queen Tobi Amusan has been in record-breaking form this season and many now tip her as one of the favourites to win the women's 60m Hurdles title at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow.
Amusan, who has competed in just two meets in the 2024 indoor season, blazed to African Record (AR) times on both occasions, thus strengthening her position as one of the world's best hurdlers in history.
Running in her first competition of the 2024 season at the World Athletics Indoor Tour in Astana, the 2022 world champion ran a blistering 7.77s for an exceptional win, thus smashing Glory Alozie's 25-year-old AR of 7.82s in the process.

AFRICAN RECORD: Tobi Amusan blasts to ground-breaking win to kickoff 2024 season in Astana
Running in her first competition of the year, Tobi Amusan blazed to an exceptional win and broke a 25-year-old African Record in the process.
Just a week later at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston, she lowered her record to a super fast 7.75s to finish second in the star-studded race led by Tia Jones, who clocked a new Personal Best (PB) of 7.72s.
These two performances not only explained her current fantastic form, but they placed her in a solid position to challenge the 60m Hurdles World Record of 7.68s and go for the world title in Glasgow.

Tobi Amusan stamps her name in the history books again as Favour Ofili joins the African Record party in Boston
Nigeria's sprint queens Tobi Amusan and Favour Ofili broke the African Record in their respective events at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston.
Interestingly, Amusan has now revealed she may not compete at the World Indoor Championships if some conditions aren't met as the season progresses.
"Coming into this meet, we didn't have plans of running at World Indoors. But my coach and I had an agreement, 'you run three 7.7s, you go to the world indoors'," she revealed in a post-race interview with Citius Mag at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.
"So this is the second one so let's see," added Amusan.

Tobi Amusan reacts to Nigerian troll, fiercely defends and appreciates her coach Lacena Golding-Clarke
Nigerian speedster Tobi Amusan was all out to defend her coach Lacena Golding-Clarke after a troll called her teacher 'Bogus'.
The 26-year-old's last performance at the World Indoor Championships was in Birmingham 2018, where she finished seventh in the final.
If she's to make the trip to Glasgow, Amusan will be gunning for the title and perhaps the WR, which will be an outstanding start to her aspirations of becoming the Olympic champion in Paris.
