Julien Alfred was all smiles and happy during her visit to Saint Lucia for the festive season holidays.
Olympic champion Julien Alfred shared glimpses of her holiday in Saint Lucia, which included sprinting on the beach with her family and friends.
The speedster who has become a household name and hero in her home country following her historic triumph over Sha'Carri Richardson in the Olympic 100m final in Paris, was honoured as a tourism ambassador for Saint Lucia, which she's doing perfectly.
During the festive period holidays, Alfred spent 48 hours at home with her family, sharing the beautiful experience on her Instagram page with the caption:
"Family time is always the best time for me. 48 hours of love, joy and laughter, there’s no place like St.Lucia. Truly my happy place 🥹🇱🇨."
Her ambassadorial honour has seen her become a beacon of possibilities for Saint Lucia with the Island's visibility improving massively as a must-visit destination.
The 23-year-old sprinter had one of the greatest seasons of an athlete last year by scooping all the titles she competed in.
Alfred became the World Indoor, Olympic, and Diamond League champion in her first full season as a professional athlete. She also set record-breaking times in the process as her 60m personal best of 6.94s is the joint second-fastest in history. In addition, she clocked a 100m personal of 10.72s (second-fastest in the world behind Richardson).
She'll be gunning to have another iconic 2025 year by defending her world indoor title and claiming her first world outdoor medal in Tokyo during the summer.
