A 'risky' $20,000,000 investment? How Nike's marketing ambush with Sha'Carri Richardson proves they struck a goldmine
When Nike extended Sha'Carri Richardson's ambassadorial deal valued around $20,000,000, many feared it was a 'risky' investment. However, recent events have proven otherwise as recent success has made her sponsors proud.
"Did you get advice or directive from Government directly or indirectly regarding making the investment you made and then lost? Was it all privately done? Have you sued the person who managed our affairs? These questions if answered will give us here perspective."
To which Bolt wasted no time responding: "Trying to victim shame me.. don’t be a Syndicate!". Then further put out a post: "In Jamaica when you speak your truth the syndicates & bots will come for you.."
With more evidence to back up and affirm his stance, the eight-time Olympic gold medallist posted screenshots from the article of renowned publication Jamaica Gleaner confirming that the Jamaican authorities were indeed aware of the case.
Bolt has referenced his refusal to speak to international bodies on the situation out of respect and loyalty to his country, but he may be forced to do that soon.
