Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt has revealed that he has never done even one lap since he became a world beating athlete and now in retirement.
Bolt, considered the greatest sprinter of all time, holds the 100m and 200m world records but even while training for those records, he was never tempted to do a single lap.
The 37-year-old brought the curtains down on his illustrious career in 2017 and while he goes jogging to stay fit, he still keeps the distance short.

Michael Johnson, Asafa Powell make bold statements on Bolt's 100m and 200m word records
Michael Johnson and Asafa Powell have discussed the enduring legacy of Usain Bolt's 100m and 200m world records.
“Do you do 5k or 10k during your easy days or even jogging?” Bolt was asked by Nunners Nerd to which he responded: “No, no. I don’t do laps.”
His manager then added: “You didn’t even run one lap!.”
It is an interesting response from Bolt who specialised in 100m and 200m. While other sprinters have taken part in 400m to improve their endurance and gauge their speed, Bolt seems to have stuck to what he knows best.
Bolt, however, run a lap[s] early in his career when he featured in 400m and 800m as junior. The other longer distance he has competed in since he became a superstar was 300m in which he clocked 30.97 in Ostrava, Czech Republic in 2010.
Bolt set the 100m and 200m world records of 9.85 and 19.19 at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin with a number of athletes attempting to break them without success down the years.
He won eight Olympic gold medals, three each in 100m and 200m, while he has 11 world titles, four in 200m and three in 100m.
