Representing the country in the indoor global event, Keter was slightly nervous about his capabilities but he now leaves Scotland with a different mindset.

Former world champions Janeth Jepkosgei and Abel Kirui have dismissed those writing off Eliud Kipchoge following his 10th place finish at the Tokyo Marathon.
In a post on his X (Twitter) handle, Keter said: “Thank you Glasgow World Indoors. Proud to represent Kenya at the senior level for the very first time. Will have no fear for the future.”

The 21-year-old made his senior-level debut at the event. He was competing in the 1500m short track race, winning his heat but proceeded to finish 10th in the final.
He has been off to a good start this season, competing in the Athletics Kenya weekend meetings and posting great times.

ATHLETICS Track stars ready to descend at Nyayo National Stadium for African Games national trials
Tons of invited athletes will be seeking to impress the crowds at the African Games national trials to be held at the Nyayo National Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday.
He started with the second AK track and field weekend meet and finished second in the 1500m final. The youngster then proceeded to the third AK meet, finishing third in the final of the 800m.
Keter then started his indoor campaign with a win at the Meeting in Metz before finishing second at the Meeting Hauts-de-France Pas-de-Calais EDF Trophy.
His focus now shifts to the major event of the year, the Olympic Games in Paris, France where the youngster will be hoping to make a name for himself.
