Commonwealth silver medallist Devynne Charlton was in unstoppable form, as she clocked a blistering new 60m Hurdles World Record at the Millrose Games.
Bahamian Devynne Charlton has set the track world on fire after storming to a new 60m Hurdles World Record of 7.67s at the Millrose Games.
Charlton blazed through the hurdles, crossing the finish line in a time that'll break Susanna Kallur's WR of 7.68s set in 2008, which also obliterated her previous lifetime best of 7.75s.
She finished ahead of world champion Danielle Williams and world leader Tia Jones, who both clocked respective 7.79s.
An emotional Charlton was captured after the race with her family as she couldn't believe what she had just achieved, despite going to the race as the joint second-fastest hurdler in the world this season.
The 28-year-old won the 60m Hurdles silver medal at the 2022 world indoor championships in Belgrade, but will now be heading to Glasgow as the favourite for the world title after her historic performance.
