Tobi Amusan’s performance at the Diamond League has attracted praise from the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), who were thrilled by her outstanding contributions to flying Nigeria’s flag high.
The 26-year-old won a third consecutive Diamond League trophy finishing with a season-best time of 12.33 seconds.

Famous Nigerian athlete Tobi Amusan was provisionally suspended by the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) for missing drug tests.
The AIU charged the Nigerian Hurdler for allegedly missing 3 whereabouts tests, of which a Disciplinary Committee cleared her of any wrongdoing.
However, the AIU has refused to accept the verdict of the Disciplinary Tribunal and now dragged Tobi Amusan to the Court of Arbitration of Sports (CAS).
