Kwara Falcons continue preparation for BAL with another loss to Abidjan Basket Club Fighters.
Nigerian basketball team Kwara Falcons continue their preparations to represent the country on the continent.
The Ilorin-based side suffered a 76 - 52 loss to the Abidjan Basket Club Fighters in a friendly fixture played on Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
The Kwara Falcons went toe to toe against one of the best sides on the continent and feel short.
It was the second loss for the Kwara Falcons at the Orange Ball Tournament at the Palais des sports de Treichville.
The Kwara Falcons already suffered a blowout loss to the Stade Malien Bamako in their opener.
Kwara Falcons and BAL preparation
The Kwara Falcons continue their preparation for the 2023 Edition of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
Their Head Coach Jibril Baba Kadri already reiterated their intention to be successful on the continental level.
He said, “We want to make a statement, The BAL is a different tournament, it is a higher league, there are more people with vast experience and quality that we are going to face.
“But we are not going to go there just to participate and come back home. This is an opportunity that does not come easy so we want to make it count by making a statement when we get there.”
