Nigerian basketball team Kwara Falcons recorded their first win at the Orange Ball Tournament.
The Kwara Falcons started their preparations campaign at the Abidjan, Ivory Coast tournament with back-to-back defeats.
The IIlorin-based side started off with a loss against Stade Malien Bamako at the Palais des sports de Treichville.
In teh second friendly game they fought to a closer loss to the Abidjan Basket Club Fighters.
Kwara Falcons beat Kadji Sport Academy of Cameroun
In their third game of the tournament, the Kwara Falcons defeated the Kadji Sport Academy of Cameroun.
It was a back-and-forth encounter between the two sides as the Kwara Falcons held on to defeat the Kadji Sport Academy of Cameroun by three points.
The Kwara Falcons announced the result on their official social media platforms with a message that said, “We pick up our first win of the Orange Ball Tournament, edging @kadjisportsacademy 52-49.”

The Orange Ball Tournament provided elite continental competition for the Kwara Falcons as they prepare for the 2023 edition of the Basketball Africa League (BAL).
