LeBron James turned back the hands of time with a dominant performance as the Lakers beat the Grizzlies.

The Los Lakers recorded a 117-11 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA Western Conference round one Game 4 Playoff fixture early on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.

The Lakers already created a 2-1 lead against the Grizzlies with the challenge of defending their home court in Game 4.

The Lakers started on top as they put up 29 points to establish a six-point lead at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Grizzlies bounce back cutting the deficit to two going to the halftime break.

The Grizzlies led by Ja Morant continued to make plays and at the end of the third quarter already had a two-point lead.

The Lakers battled back in the fourth quarter to tie the game and send it to overtime.

In overtime, the Lakers were able to execute better with experience to close out the Grizzlies and take a 3-1 lead in the series.

LeBron James the NBA's All-time top scorer and a four-time NBA Champion ended with 22 points, 20 rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks in 45 minutes on the court. 

With his stat total, the 38-year-old created NBA history. In a playoff game, he also holds the record for the oldest player with 20 points and 20 rebounds. 

James is still ranked among the top 10 NBA players in his 20th season in the league and fifth as a member of the Lakers.  

With less than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Lakers were behind 97-90, but D'Angelo Russell hit three consecutive three-pointers to change the momentum. 

James then forced overtime by tying the score with 0.1 seconds left in the contest. 

He made several clutch plays late including the winning bucket against Dillon Brooks.

The Lakers are now on the road for Game 5, which will take place on Wednesday night in Memphis.

They'll travel back to Los Angeles on Friday if a Game 6 is necessary. 

Depending on who wins the series, the Sacramento Kings or Golden State Warriors will be their opponents in the second round.
