The Boston Celtics were able to blowout the Philadelphia 76ers and tie the series at 1-1.

In Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at TD Garden, the Boston Celtics outplayed the Philadelphia 76ers to even the series.

The 76ers failed to repeat their victory from Game 1, when they defeated the Celtics on the road, despite Joel Embiid's return to the court.

With a commanding 121-87 victory over the 76ers, the Celtics made it clear why they are the East's current champions.

Jayson Tatum had a terrible game, scoring just seven points while making just one of his seven field goals.

But his teammates stepped up, with Malcolm Brogdon adding 23 points and Jaylen Brown scoring 25.

Philadelphia, on the other hand, struggled offensively, shooting only 39.2% from the field.

Tobias Harris led the squad with only 16 points, and none of their players scored more than 20 points.

Even though Embiid was back in play just after earning the MVP award, he only managed to score 15 points and grab 3 rebounds, well below his typical outstanding performance.

James Harden, who dominated Game 1 with 45 points, was only able to score 12 points despite making 12 of his 14 shots.

The third game of the series will take place at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday, May 5, as the series now shifts to Philadelphia.

On Sunday, May 7, Game 4 will also be held in the same location with a Game 5 set for a return to Boston.

If the 76ers want to take back the series lead, they must refocus and find their offensive groove.
