Auburn forward Johni Broome announced Thursday via Instagram that he will declare for the 2025 NBA Draft, concluding a remarkable five-year college career that spanned two programs.
Broome had a standout season, earning consensus first-team All-American honours after averaging 18.6 points, 10.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.1 blocks per game on 51% shooting from the field.
His efforts also earned him SEC Player of the Year, making him only the third player in Auburn history to win the award, joining legends Charles Barkley (1984) and Chris Porter (1999).
Standing at 6-foot-10, Broome cemented his place in NCAA history as the only player ever to record at least 2,500 points, 1,500 rebounds, and 400 blocked shots in a collegiate career.
