UCU head coach Nicholas Natuhereza is fine playing back-to-back games ahead of their National Basketball League tie against a newly promoted side, Kampala Rockets.
An 87- 35 win over Rez Life Saints on Saturday took their winning record to 5-3 and carried them to third place in the table.
"I think it part of the game to have these back-to-back games, we won quite comfortably today, and some of our senior players got enough rest," Natuhereza told Pulse Sports.
Having started the season inconsistently, the Canons have flipped the switch winning their last three games and will be confident of winning their fourth straight game.
Despite being favourites going into the game, Natuhereza says that his side should stay focused and go out and finish the job. "We are ready for the game, but we shouldn't be complacent heading into the game; they have some experience in their ranks, but we have to finish the job", he added.
Their opponents, Kampala Rockets, have a 2-5 record to start the season and find themselves in eleventh place. After losing their previous three encounters, a win over fellow newcomers RezLife Saints, 71-57 in their last game and will head to the encounter with confidence as well.
