Things have gone from bad to worse for the Dallas Mavericks as star guard Kyrie Irving expected to miss rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving's season has suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, the team announced on Tuesday.

However, the pain was evident, and he was seen grimacing throughout. Irving left the game after shooting the free throws and did not return.

The Mavericks initially reported Irving's injury as a left knee sprain, but further medical evaluation revealed the severity of the issue.

Irving's injury is a significant blow to the Mavericks, who are already dealing with several key players being sidelined. The 32-year-old guard had been averaging 25 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game this season.
