“My goal is to beat LeBron" - Giannis is motivated to beat LeBron at All-Star game.
Greek-Nigerian professional basketball player Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo has stated that he is motivated for the upcoming 2023 NBA All-Star game.
The 28-year-old was in action for the Milwaukee Bucks as they recorded a 115-106 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Antetokoumpo was again in sensational form for the Bucks on the big stage against the Lakers.
In 36 minutes of action, Antetokoumpo dropped a double-double of 38 points and 10 rebounds.
Antetoukounmpo also contributed six assists and three blocks. He made 14 of his 23 shots and was an impressive nine of 13 from the free-throw line.

After another strong performance, Antetokounmpo was awarded the final game interview with NBA legends Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal.
Antetokounmpo was celebrated for his performance and asked about his plans for the upcoming NBA All-Star game in Slat Lake City, Utah.
The two-time NBA MVP was made team captain as he received the most votes of any player in the Eastern Conference.
LeBron James was announced as the other captain as he received the most votes of any player in the Western Conference.
Speaking about his plans for the All-Star game, Antetoukoumpoo was also reminded that he has lost twice as captain to a team led by James.
Antetokoumpo then explained that he aims to get his first victory at the All-Star game against James as captain of his team.
He said, “My goal is to beat LeBron… I gotta do the best job possible.
"You know kind of work right now you know I'm coaching the celebrity game so I'm kind of working my way to coaching and uh now with being the captain.

"I’m working my way to the front office so I gotta do the best job. I cannot be 0-3 against him.”
Antetokoumpo is expected to play a prominent role at the NBA All-Star weekend. He will captain Team Giannis and will also serve as a coach for the celebrity game.
The NBA All-Star weekend will hold in Salt Lake City, Utah from Friday, February 17 till Sunday, February 19, 2023.
