The Miami Heat showed up big In the third game of the NBA's Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Knicks on Saturday, May 6.
They made the most of their return to South Beach by winning 105-86, giving them a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
With Jimmy Butler's comeback as a postseason hero, Miami took control from start to finish in the first visit of the series to Kaseya Center.
The Heat's star player barely showed any effects from the ankle injury that prevented him from playing in Game 2 on Tuesday.
He entered the inside 11 times to reach the line, and he converted all but one of his chances to score 28 points for the afternoon.
Butler, who had missed the previous two games due to a sprained ankle, scored 28 points and Max Strus contributed 19 points.
The Heat never trailed thanks to 17 points and 12 rebounds from American professional basketball player of Nigerian descent Bam Adebayo as well as 14 points from Kyle Lowry for Miami.
For New York, Jalen Brunson scored 20 points, while the Knicks also had 15 points from Josh Hart, 14 points from RJ Barrett, 12 points from Immanuel Quickley and Julius Randle scored 10 points and 14 rebounds
Football stars Koke and Griezmann show up
Atletico Madrid stars Koke and Antoine Griezmann were in attendance for the Heat’s victory against the Knicks.
With no action in La Liga this weekend, Koke and Griezmann took a trip from Spain to the United State f America (USA) to watch the Heat’s victory against the Knicks.
Koke and Griezmann follow the footsteps of Barcelona stars Eric Garcia and Pedri who attended the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers Game 2 Western Conference semifinal match-up.
