Team Kenya return to the championship after a third-place finish during the first edition in 2019.
A team of 29 players has been selected for the second edition of the FIBA Africa-organised AfroCAN Championships in Angola in July, with dates to be confirmed later.
The Morans return to the championship after a third-place finish during the first edition which was held in 2019 and they will be hoping to go one step better in the second edition. Kenya has been pooled in Group A alongside Gabon.

The players who compete for international teams include Derrick Ogechi, Devyne Marble, Ariel Okal, Fidel Okoth, Bush Wamukota, Paul Ereng, and Peter Sifuma. Ronnie Gundo, Albert Odero, and Tylor Ongwae have also been called up.

BASKETBALL KPA silence Zetech Sparks to successfully retain KBF title
KPA showed experience and handled Game Three well and their effort worked in their favour as they won 68-45.
The team will be under the tutelage of head coach Cliff Owuor. Assistant coaches Collins Gaya, Ancent Wafula, and Duncan Ndeda have also been appointed. Erastus Wainaina will be the team’s physiotherapist.
