The Los Angeles Lakers honored Kobe Bryant by unveiling a new statue of the NBA legend outside their home arena.
Kobe Bryant, the five-time NBA champion who spent his entire 20-season career with the Lakers, tragically passed away in a helicopter crash on January 26, 2020, along with his daughter Gianna and seven others.
The newly unveiled 19-foot bronze statue captures the iconic moment when he raised his index finger after scoring 81 points against the Toronto Raptors in January 2006.
