The 40-year-old Lakers forward is a part owner of Liverpool Football Club, the Red Devils’ primal rivals. He initially owned a 2% stake in the club back in 2011, before converting it to a 1% stake in Fenway Sports Group (FSG), the principal owners of the Reds, among other sports teams.

The four-time NBA champion is no stranger to Anfield, and he is regularly seen donning Liverpool kits on social media and out in the world.
Lakers journalist Mike Trudell wore a Manchester United jacket to interview LeBron, and the former Miami Heat ace mocked him.
Displaying his allegiance to Liverpool, he said, “That's a horrible jacket, by the way,” before playfully motioning to rip the Red Devils crest off the jacket.
Lakers lose in sensational fashion
LeBron was in action for the Lakers this morning in their dramatic 119-117 defeat to the Chicago Bulls.
The Los Angeles outfit were up by five points with 11 seconds to go in the game, but the Bulls scored 9 points in the remaining time to the Lakers’ two. LeBron scored 17 points in the match, with five rebounds and 12 assists.
