48 3-pointers were made as the Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors set an NBA record with a triple-double from Luka Doncic.

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Golden State Warriors 143-133 in San Francisco making an NBA-high 48 3-pointers between the two teams.

The Sacramento Kings and LA Clippers set the previous record of 44 in a 176-175 triple-overtime game in February 2023, and the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns had just tied it.

The Warriors' 27 3-pointers for the game equaled the most in franchise history and were the most ever made by an NBA team in a defeat.

The Mavericks dominated the usually formidable Warriors defense for 46 points in the first quarter and led 81-74 at the half thanks to their early and frequent offensive output.

Notably, the Warriors lost to the Houston Rockets in their last game, scoring only 90 points overall.

Luka Doncic's outstanding performance, which included 45 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds on 6-of-11 from outside the arc, drove the Dallas attack.
