Luka Doncic bags triple-double against Raptors as Mavericks record 7th straight win
In Canada, the Dallas Mavericks recorded their 7th straight win against the Toronto Raptors thanks to a triple-double by Luka Doncic.
The Sacramento Kings and LA Clippers set the previous record of 44 in a 176-175 triple-overtime game in February 2023, and the Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns had just tied it.
The Warriors' 27 3-pointers for the game equaled the most in franchise history and were the most ever made by an NBA team in a defeat.
The Mavericks dominated the usually formidable Warriors defense for 46 points in the first quarter and led 81-74 at the half thanks to their early and frequent offensive output.
Notably, the Warriors lost to the Houston Rockets in their last game, scoring only 90 points overall.
Luka Doncic's outstanding performance, which included 45 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds on 6-of-11 from outside the arc, drove the Dallas attack.
In his second visit to Chase Center as a visitor, Klay Thompson was outstanding against his old team, scoring a season-high 29 points on 7 for 11 from outside the arc.
Andrew Wiggins was the high point man with 29 points on 5-for-9 from long range, while Stephen Curry led Golden State with seven 3-pointers.
