Miami Heat guard Gabe Vincent sprained his left ankle in the fourth quarter of Game 4 against the Celtics following an awkward landing after Jayson Tatum blocked his attempt to shoot a three.
Miami Heat suffer setback
Vincent, who has averaged 17.5 points per game during the Eastern Conference Finals and has been critical to the Heat’s 3-1 series lead, will miss Game 5 Thursday night due to a sprained ankle.
Veteran guard Kyle Lowry will get the start in place of the injured Vincent and certainly see heavy minutes.
Boston will hope to force a critical Game 6 back in Miami on Saturday as they aim to become the only team in NBA history to overturn a 3-0 Conference Finals deficit.
