The second-seeded Knicks overcame a 96-point deficit in the last minute of play to score the last eight points of the game and take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 3 of the series will take place in Philadelphia on Thursday.

The NBA has revealed nominees for the best performance in 2023/24 for 7 awards categories.
In addition to center Isaiah Hartenstein's outstanding play, DiVincenzo finished with 19 points and Jalen Brunson with 24 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. New York overcame a 10-point hole late in the first half.
Nuggets beat Lakers
In their Western Conference series against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Denver Nuggets similarly gained a 2-0 lead after rallying from a 20-point hole in the second half to win astonishingly 101-99.
With 0.4 seconds remaining, Jamal Murray completed Denver's incredible comeback with a game-winning 15-foot shot.
The reigning NBA champions were also led by Nikola Jokić, who scored 15 points after halftime and scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half. Jokic finished the game with a triple-double of 27 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists.
For the seventh-seeded Lakers, Anthony Davis finished with 32 points and 11 rebounds.
D'Angelo Russell scored 23 points for the Lakers while shooting 7 of 11 from three-point range. James finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds.
Cavaliers beat Magic
The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Orlando Magic 96-86 to take a 2-0 lead in their first-round series. Donovan Mitchell scored 23 points, and Jarrett Allen led another solid defensive effort.
Following a game in which they held the Magic to less than 33% shooting, fourth-seeded Cleveland forced 17 turnovers and held the No. 5 seed Orlando to 36.2% shooting from the field to get within two victories of making the playoffs.
Allen stood up in especially, grabbing 20 rebounds, three blocks, and two steals in addition to his 16 points.
With 21 points, Paolo Banchero led the Magic, while Franz Wagner scored 18 for Orlando.
